Executive Assistant Accounts Payable

The Executive Assistant (EA)/Accounts Payable full-time position will provide analytical and organizational assistance to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to include support of the Department of Defense (DoD) quality of life programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • create and review executive level presentations
  • assist in various projects as directed by the Executive Staff
  • process expense reports and the accounts payable functions of the company
  • schedule appointments as required
  • compose and prepare confidential correspondence and other documents as directed by CEO
  • prepare statistical information and reports as requested by CEO

Qualifications
  • strong proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • ability to maintain complete confidentiality as access to confidential and sensitive information is common
  • work with minimal direction or guidance

Instructional Systems Designer (ISD)

The ISD will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing online courses, tutorials, and other web-based educational products in support of the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD). This full time position will be based at our corporate headquarters in Stafford, Virginia with occasional requirements to meet with clients in the Northern Virginia area. Some functions may be performed virtually.

Key Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and implementing online courses, tutorials, and other web-based educational products to include curriculum development, storyboarding, content development, and testing and evaluation.

Qualifications
  • experience in e-learning development, SCORM standards, and section 508 compliance
  • knowledge of Web development tools including Captivate, Flash, Powerpoint, Adobe Soundbooth, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Presenter, and Dream Weaver
  • experience working with a learning management system
  • demonstrate knowledge of adult education theories, methods, systematic approaches to curriculum development, and the ADDIE process
  • excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for working in a team environment (instructional designers, graphic designers, and content creators)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in education, instructional systems design, educational psychology, computer-based courseware development or related field preferred
  • minimum of three years experience as an instructional systems designer required

eLearning Programmer

The eLearning Programmer will provide support for all programming needs related to eLearning development and some tasks related to social media. This is a contract position that is based in Stafford, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities
  • program robust Flash-based eLearning interactions working from scripts, outlines, or storyboards and in collaboration with instructional designers
  • create Flash video and animations
  • integrate Flash code into eLearning modules created in Articulate or Captivate
  • program tracking elements as specified into courseware and pass tracking data to a Learning Management System using SCORM
  • create reusable Flash code modules to streamline courseware development
  • create, edit, and integrate media assets as needed to support courseware
  • record and edit audio (narration, music, sound effects)
  • edit digital video and package for web deliver in a variety of bandwidth
  • perform basic quality assurance testing on all code developed
  • maintain a high level of technical knowledge and monitor ongoing improvements in e-Learning, web development, and media asset creation tools and technologies 
  • develop widgets for content for use in various social media applications

Qualifications
  • prior experience working in eLearning development
  • excellent knowledge in Flash 8/Flash CS3/Flash CS4 and ActionScript 2.0 or 3.0
  • programming skills for all eLearning standards and practices
  • experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, HTML, CSS, Adobe Illustrator, Flash animation and design, PHP, mySQL, Java Script (JQuery or MOOTools are a plus)
  • excellent visual design skills
  • experience with eLearning authoring tools to include Adobe eLearning Suite (Captivate, Presenter, Soundbooth, Flash CS4, SCORM Packager), and PowerPoint
  • experience in SCORM (2004 3rd Ed is preferred)
  • excellent visual design skills
  • experience with social media application
  • experience with Learning Management Systems

Content Communication Specialist

The Content Communication Specialist will develop content and provide research, editing, and writing expertise of the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) for the Military Community & Family Policy (MC&FP), Office of Communications and Outreach.

This is a contract position that is based in Stafford, VA. Ability to interface in person with MC&FP Program Managers and attend periodic meetings in the DC Metro area is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities
  • creating content for the Special Needs Parent Tool Kit, an EFMP quality of life publication
  • researching a variety of topics to include military healthcare, community resources, Tricare benefits, relocation, Special Needs Trusts, and issues related to transition to adulthood special needs
  • coordinating and integrating project activities with a team of project managers, graphic designers, and DoD personnel
  • synthesizing large amounts of detailed and often complicated information into parent- friendly and/or user- friendly content

Qualifications
  • strong copy editing skills, excellent writing skills, and knowledge of Chicago and Manual style
  • solid spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
  • excellent knowledge of Military Quality of Life Programs and/or background in special needs /disabilities in the public sector
  • experience /background in special needs to include knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and services and resources
  • familiarity with Special Education law (IDEA)
  • exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • clinical licensure preferred (MSW/LCSW/RN)
  • Master’s degree preferred
