Content Management Specialist
The Content Management Specialist (CMS) will be responsible for new and updated content development in support of articles, web content, and ePublications primarily for the Office of Communications (OC), Military Community & Family Policy (MC&FP). In addition to content creation, the CMS will ensure high quality content/consistency in compliance with MC&FP policies, standards, style and procedures. The Content Management Specialist will also be responsible for interfacing with MC&FP Program Managers and assisting them with the execution of their communication needs through the utilization of existing and emerging OC communication channels. Candidates must be able to lead or work as part of a professional services team that includes project managers, graphic designers, and eLearning technical specialists.
Candidate should have 3-5 years experience with Military Quality of Life programs and at least a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field. In addition , the candidate should have a high level of computer competency to include HTML,Dreamweaver, Excel and Microsoft Word.
This is a full-time position that is based at our corporate headquarters in Stafford, Virginia. Ability to interface in person with MC&FP Program Managers and attend periodic meetings in the DC metro area is a requirement. Submit resume to careers@bowenconsulting.com.
